HP OfficeJet 4315 all-in-one Carriage Jam

We had a client come in today with an HP OfficeJet 4315 that they bought a couple weeks back at Office Depot. The carriage jammed up after installing a new black ink cartridge. He said he had received a “Cartridge Error” and a “Clear Carriage” error. We fixed the Cartridge error by removing and inserting the black ink cartridge back into place. The clear carriage error was just as easy. We powered off the printer, opened up the right side where the ink carriage was hiding and pushed the carriage to the left. We then just powered it back on and it performed an alignment test. That’s it!
