I found his myspace account through email search and it was very disturbing , he said he no longer uses that account & that he has another . Bottom line is there a way that I can prevent him from cleaning up his browsing history through the “internet options” tab . that is where he goes to clean his surfing habits & cookies , Please help me I run Win XP / Mozilla Firefox pentium 4 1.8 gig etc etc .

Maybe your son just needs some privacy and then when u give it to him he’ll stop.

Just tell him that the next time the history is empty, that’s the end of his computer career !! Or, put your own password in to logon to startup and he won’t be able to use the comp.

His computer needs to be in the main family area of the home so that you can monitor what he is doing. Kids know more ways around security than parents know about security.
