    cleaning windows registry is not recommended ….

    I have “Registry Repair Pro”. I purchased online for about $10. I like it and it does seem to benefit my computer to clean the registry.

    I use Ace utilities and like it very much. Especially good for clearing junk registry files after an uninstall.
