Can I install ATI Video card on a SLI motherboard with Nvidia chipset?

If I buy a SLI motherboard with Nvidia Chipset, can I install my ATI Video Card on it?
I only have one ATI card. And, will not purchase another since my current video card is powerful enough for me.
